On the heels of his high-profile offseason trade from the Charlotte Hornets to the Minnesota Timberwolves, NBA star LaMelo Ball is strategically shifting his luxury real estate portfolio. The 25-year-old point guard has officially put one of his two stacked Charlotte condos on the market, scaling back his Queen City footprint.

Ball originally began assembling his vertical compound inside Uptown’s ultra-exclusive boutique building, The Trust, back in August 2023 when he scooped up a third-floor residence, 3B, for $2.2 million. He doubled down just nine months later, paying former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton $2.47 million in an off-market deal for a fourth-floor unit, 4B, directly above after leasing it for four years.

Now that he has transitioned to the Twin Cities, holding court over consecutive levels of the seven-residence structure is an indulgence he no longer requires. Ball has listed the contemporary third-floor unit for $2.6 million, though records show he is hanging onto the Newton penthouse—at least for now. Erika Mendoza of Coldwell Banker Realty holds the listing.

Spanning roughly 3,500 square feet, the corner unit overlooking 4th Street features polished marble floors with dramatic gold and gray veining throughout. The home offers four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and a powder room, plus a private outdoor terrace with a kitchen setup and a dining area.

An entrance gallery flows to a spacious great room with expansive bronze-cased windows offering city skyline views. The open-plan layout seamlessly integrates a sleek kitchen outfitted with espresso-hued cabinetry, white quartz countertops, a wine refrigerator, and a large island incorporating a four-seat breakfast bar.

Elsewhere, a custom wet bar anchors the entertaining spaces, while the primary suite hosts a striking showroom-style dressing area with crystal starburst chandeliers and mirrored wardrobes, as well as a bath equipped with a multi-head walk-in shower.

A $3,005 monthly HOA fee includes two secured garage parking spaces. Residents also enjoy access to a 1,162-bottle wine vault, a gym, and a shared rooftop terrace, where Ball famously went viral for riding a go-kart. Chima Brazilian Steakhouse also operates on the building’s ground floor, while the Bank of America Stadium and Truist Field are within walking distance.
